I'd like to share a prayer with you that I wrote to ask St. Monica to pray with me for my family. She will pray, and your prayers will be answered! God will never turn away from the tears of a mother.

St. Monica Prayer

Dear Jesus,

I pray this prayer in intercession for my family. I thank You for them and for the precious gift that they are. I lift each one of them up to You now and ask that You would bless them with every spiritual gift. Jesus, I pray in union with St. Monica, who prayed so fervently for her husband and son, for my family member(s) who need You most. Bless and touch their hearts now and lead them to conversion. I claim the grace of their baptism and all the sacraments that they have received. St. Monica, as you prayed before the throne of God with tears, pray now too for me- for my special loved ones, to be converted and to give their hearts fully to Jesus. May they be filled with the Holy Spirit and be docile and obedient to His leadings. Protect them, Jesus, from the evil one and all his influences. Give me the grace always to love them as You love them, and to say and do what You lead me to, O Lord. I entrust this prayer to You, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and agree together with my friend, who is also saying this prayer, for You said, “Ask and you will receive.” I thank You right now for the answer to this prayer.
